Sunken Gardens

Inside the museum, you will be able to explore the first passenger airplane that made the historic first flight from St. Petersburg to Tampa, a short 17-mile flight. You will be able to see where history was made from the Flight One Gallery and learn about the huge transition into the world that offers commercial flights today.
Baseball fans will want to check out the most extensive collection of autographed baseballs and see the other baseball artifacts from legends such as Babe Ruth. The collection is certified by Guinness World Records, holding roughly 5000 autographed baseballs.
Aside from these, you can gain an appreciation for the history of St. Petersburg. See the history of the piers and the historic importance of the city as a port. You will also be able to learn about the city’s role in the Civil War and World War II.
