RENTAL POLICIES

Thank-you for choosing Sandcastle Realty, Inc. for your vacation rental. We appreciate your business!

PAYMENT POLICY: A 25% deposit is due upon reserving the vacation rental. Deposits may be paid by cash, bank check, travelers checks or Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. NO PERSONAL CHECKS UNLESS RECEIVED 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.

 

BUSINESS HOURS: Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Sat 9 to 3.

 

CHECK IN: between 2pm-5pm Monday-Friday and 2pm to 3pm on Sat. at the office of Sandcastle Realty, Inc. 201 108th Ave. Treasure Island. Arrangements for Sunday or late check-in times can be made in advance by contacting the rental agent for instructions. Because we have high standards for cleanliness, some rental homes may not be ready by 2pm especially during peak season. Your patience will be appreciated in these instances. If you arrive early, please give us a call. If your rental is ready, you are welcome to check in early.

 

CHECK OUT TIME: is 11 am so that housekeeping may prepare for the next guests.

 

CANCELLATION: Requires 30 day notice prior to arrival for a refund. However, a $100 administrative fee will be deducted. For your protection, please consider purchasing Travel Insurance which will protect your vacation in case a last minute emergency or other unpredictable event occurs with in the 30 days up to arrival.


Travel Protection Insurance: Travel Insurance is available to purchase through Sandcastle Realty, Inc. and the company Travel Guard. It is automatically calculated and added to your rental upon booking. The plan is optional but we strongly recommend it. In case of unforeseen events, this insurance helps protect your vacation investment. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE AND CANCEL LESS THAN 30 DAYS , NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: You may purchase for $45 damage insurance, or we will hold your credit card information for any damages or excessive cleaning. To prevent extra charges for excessive cleaning , please remove all trash from the premises. Extra cleaning may also be charged for stained linens beyond the usual wear and tear expected.

 

CONDOMINIUM RULES: By confirming your reservation, you agree to abide by the posted rules of the rental you are staying in and agree to be responsible for paying all rental charges. NO PETS ALLOWED ! without prior authorization and pet deposit.

 

YOUNG ADULT POLICY: Accommodations may not be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under age 24) unless accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.

 

ALL CONDOS/HOMES ARE NON SMOKING

 

CLEANING: All condos and homes are cleaned prior to arrival and at departure. We do not provide any daily or weekly maid service however, for an additional charge, extra cleaning can be scheduled with Sandcastle Realty.

 

SUPPLIES: All rentals are nicely furnished and fully equipped with sheets and towels, kitchen supplies for everyday cooking, and a starter supply of bath soap and toilet tissue.

 

Key Policy: For lost keys a $10 charge will apply.

 

SUBSTITUTION OF ACCOMMODATIONS: Circumstances may cause your confirmed rental to be unavailable. We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations. We cannot guarantee the confirmed rate in these circumstances; however accommodations and rates will be subject to your approval.
